Parish Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council is responsible for the development of a unified parish to become an alive Christian community and to live the mission of the Church in the world by
• Developing pastoral strategies and directions
• Making decisions for the good of the parish
• Initiating and promoting ventures that reflect the concerns of the parish, archdiocese and wider church
• Communicating effectively
The council consists of members and ex-officio members including the Parish Priest, Pastoral Associate and Parish Secretary. Meeting dates are advertised in Spread the Word.

Finance Council
The Finance Council consists of members and ex-officio members including the Parish Priest. Members are chosen generally for their expertise in financial management. The Finance Council with the Parish Priest discuss the financial management of the parish and keeps all parishioners informed of the financial situation. Liturgy Group
The Liturgy Group meets bi-monthly to prepare liturgical celebrations in liaison with the Parish Office, review held liturgical celebrations and discuss any liturgy matters. Meeting dates are advertised in Spread the Word.

Social Justice Group
The Social Justice Group helps to provide a better understanding of social justice issues from a Catholic perspective, and help the parish become more conscious of its need to be involved. Meeting dates are advertised in Spread the Word.
